Traveling to Europe this time round, I found myself to be much better prepared. There are essential items that needs to be packed like sweaters and clothing to keep you warm, hats, and sunnies. Then, there are also other travel essentials for women during cold weather, like these ones below! I’ve personally used them and found them to be very helpful. Himalaya Nourishing Skin Cream The cream contains extracts of Aloe Vera and smells amazing! For dry cold weather, it works really well in moisturizing our dry skin and doesn’t even leave grease on our faces! It’s so good I didn’t even have to put on my foundation! I used the skin cream as a base and just use compact… View Post

I should have known that something was wrong when our day started out with a 2 hour train delay from Rome to Florence and that I was about to face with my very first bad AirBNB Experience. What was supposed to be a 3 hours journey took us 5 hours on this particular day. When we finally arrived in Santa Maria Novella train station, we were extremely tired and hungry. Upon exiting the train, we felt no comfort in being surrounded by a lot of other tourists and locals. I had a quick look at the instructions from our AirBNB host on how to get to the apartment that we’ve booked, and found out that we have had to take… View Post

2015 has been an amazing year for me, with plenty of fond memories and bucket loads of adventures. As it is with every year, here’s a quick recap on our travel experiences. 1. Hanoi will always remind me of egg coffee, Vietnamese BBQ, Chang Beer and the fact that I got scammed by a taxi driver. 2. I was really looking forward to Halong Bay but eventually found it absolutely overrated. 3. Ninh Binh was a pleasant surprise and the hike up Mua Cave took my breath away – literally, with the hike (and of course the amazing view!) 4. Phuket will always remind me of our very first dinner by the beach experience. 5. Landed in Rome with a… View Post

Florence is by far, our favourite city in Italy. There’s so much of culture packed into this city and we have to say, amazing food too that you’ll never have to think about what to eat in Florence! We’ve spent countless hours just browsing through FourSquare for the next eatery, bars and gelataria. Out of all that we’ve tried and tasted, the ones listed below are our favourites. So if you’re thinking about what to eat in Florence, try our selection! What to eat in Florence for Breakfast Ditta Artiginiale Cozy, welcoming and non-Italian! After being in Italy for a week and a half, we were craving for something that is non-Italian. Not that we didn’t like Italian food, we… View Post

Upon arriving in Kochi, our first destination was to the land of rivers, forests and the amazing Athirapally water falls, in the district of Thrissur. Known as the Niagara Falls of India, the scenic fall is one of the most popular tourist places in Kerala. In order to get to the waterfall, you will be required to drive through dense forest reserve and then hike a short distance via a paved path through bamboo clusters and trees. I really like that a lot of work has been put into maintaining the waterfalls and forests in the area. There are plenty of “No Smoking” and “No Littering” signs being put up everywhere and there are police officers patrolling the area to… View Post
