After an entire day hiking the Namhansanseong Fortress, our tired body needs some pampering and what better way to do so than a Korean Jimjilbang / jjimjilbang? Jjimjilbang is a gender segregated public Korean bath house, furnished with an array of hot tubs, shower, saunas and massage table. After watching so many scenes involving a jjimjilbang from the many Korean dramas, I had to see and experience for myself. There are plenty of reviews about the famous Dragon Hill Spa but I felt that it may be overrated as it caters mostly for tourists and I am not keen to visit a jimjilbang that is too local either, for fear that we may accidentally walk into a Love Motel, as… View Post

After many years of Korean Drama fever, I’ve finally managed to visit Seoul! Korea never really quite made it into my “List of countries to visit”, but by request from my cousin, we made this our destination for our 2016 girls trip! Whilst it was a really tiring trip as I’m not a shopaholic, there are quite a lot of things I actually love about Seoul, and with that, here are 7 things I learnt about Seoul. It’s an expensive city This comes as no surprise as Seoul is ranked as the fifth most expensive city to live in! Whilst the flight ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Seoul was really affordable, and our five nights AirBNB accommodation was cheap, by… View Post

A trip to one of the best wine regions in the world would not be complete, without a proper Chianti wine tour! Prior to the trip, I have received a few quotes from local tour companies on a half day wine tasting tour in the Chianti region and finally, I opted to go with one of the tours offered in Viator. It was definitely one of the highlight of our days in Florence! The meet up point was near the Santa Maria Novella church, and since we were early, we decided to do a little bit of sight seeing, and on the way, found a restaurant that serves Chinese food! After being in Italy for 2 weeks, our Asian taste… View Post

Traveling to Europe this time round, I found myself to be much better prepared. There are essential items that needs to be packed like sweaters and clothing to keep you warm, hats, and sunnies. Then, there are also other travel essentials for women during cold weather, like these ones below! I’ve personally used them and found them to be very helpful. Himalaya Nourishing Skin Cream The cream contains extracts of Aloe Vera and smells amazing! For dry cold weather, it works really well in moisturizing our dry skin and doesn’t even leave grease on our faces! It’s so good I didn’t even have to put on my foundation! I used the skin cream as a base and just use compact… View Post

I should have known that something was wrong when our day started out with a 2 hour train delay from Rome to Florence and that I was about to face with my very first bad AirBNB Experience. What was supposed to be a 3 hours journey took us 5 hours on this particular day. When we finally arrived in Santa Maria Novella train station, we were extremely tired and hungry. Upon exiting the train, we felt no comfort in being surrounded by a lot of other tourists and locals. I had a quick look at the instructions from our AirBNB host on how to get to the apartment that we’ve booked, and found out that we have had to take… View Post
