To view the sunrise at Candi Borobudur, we woke up the next day at an ungodly hour of 3.30am. Having slept only at midnight, I was close to kicking myself in the shin but I know that the sunrise at Borobudur Temple Indonesia is going to be worth it. After all, it says something if it’s named as one of the most beautiful thing in the world to experience by Lonely Planet and CNN Travel! When we arrived at the lobby of Princess Manohara Resort, we were given our entrance tickets to the temple + breakfast vouchers, one torchlight and a sarong each. Yogyakarta Indonesia – A 4 Days Itinerary

Yogyakarta Indonesia – A 4 Days Itinerary

How do you write about a place with so much history, one like Yogyakarta Indonesia? I mean, where do you even start? I’ve heard (or read, rather) so much about the historical city of Yogyakarta but never really thought of visiting until a casual conversation with a couple of close friends and my hubs (then boyfriend) on taking a quick Yogyakarta vacation. I cannot believe nor understand why I did not visit sooner as I absolutely love historical sites! I mean, with 2 UNESCO sites like Prambanan and Borobudur Yogyakarta, I was ecstatic beyond words. Visit Indonesia

Visit Indonesia

Since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to visit Indonesia. I’ve heard amazing stories about some of the places to visit in Indonesia such as the beauty of Bali, the mythical and majestic Borobudur and Prambanan temples of Jogjakarta, the largest volcanic lake in the world called Lake Toba and of course, Tana Toraja, a place that’s famous for their different funeral rites. When I finally had the chance to visit, I was more than thrilled! The opportunity first arises when my best friend and I were talking about taking a short vacation from work, as we were both exhausted beyond words. We decided on taking an impromptu vacation to Indonesia and booked the cheapest flight available – to… View Post
